Imagine a comic book coming to life - this is what we do at PHONT. By combining AI and innovative design we take one of the most consumed forms of media - subtitled videos - to the next level for hundreds of millions of potential users. We have two patents pending on this technology and build our first product, PHONT-Studio, which is a a webbased application that allows professional content creators to automatically captioning there videos in a creative way that fits to their video and the emotions shown and saving them up to 8h editing time a month. Our long term goal is to establish this way of subtitling as an industry standard and license the technology to big streaming services such as Netflix, Mubi, BBC and the likes with paying POCs running. We are changing a tool that has not been changed for a hundred years and aim to be the “Dolby” for subtitling. Our vision is To Bring Subtitles to Life.
